Linda Linder

Mrs. Linda Kay Viers Linder, 77, of Smoaks, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at her residence.  She was the widow of the late Franklin Daniel Linder.

Born December 5, 1943 in Valparaiso, Indiana, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Dorotha Viers.  She was a former secretary for Huffines Company in Walterboro.  She was a member of Berea Advent Christian Church in Smoaks.  Mrs. Linda loved gardening and working with her flowers and always took great pride in making sure her yard looked good.  She also loved taking care of her Koi fish pond.

Surviving are: her step children, Teresa Linder Fender and her husband Michael of Lodge, and Anthony “Tony” Linder and his wife Tami of Smoaks; step grandchildren, Casey Fender, Brian Linder and Matthew Linder; and step great grandchildren, Michael Daniel Fender and Alyssa Skyler Fender.  She had four sisters, Frannie, Lisa, Debbie and Cheryl; and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be held 2 o’clock, Friday afternoon, January 15, 2021 at Hagan Cemetery, Hagan Lane, Smoaks.
