Linda Linder

Mrs. Linda Rast Linder, 64, of Smoaks, entered into eternal rest Sunday afternoon, May 21, 2023, at Colleton Medical Center.  She was the wife of the late Richard Manning Linder, Sr., to whom she was married 41 years.

Born June 4, 1958, in Columbia, she was a daughter of the late Robert Lee Rast and Anita Barber Rast.  She retired from Winn Dixie in Hampton.  She was a member of Berea Advent Christian Church and loved to participate in the United Methodist Women’s Group at Little Swamp.  Linda was an honest and hardworking person and loved her pets.

Surviving are: her step-daughter, Becky Linder Hart of Smoaks; sister, Susan Carter Myers of Smoaks; nieces and nephews, Shane Linder, Jake Carter, III, John Carter, Scottie Rast, Alice Thomas and Mary Lee Brassard; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Rast.

Graveside funeral services will be held 11 o’clock, Friday morning, May 26, 2023, at Hagan Cemetery, Smoaks.
