Mrs. Linda Anne Gawel, 73, of Ruffin, entered into rest Tuesday afternoon, November 7, 2017 at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She was the wife of the late Marian Josef Gawel.
Linda was born in Bethlehem, New Hampshire on June 12, 1944. She was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Martignetti. She was an office manager for an insurance company. She enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. She was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by her children, Garret Lavoie of Louisville, KY, Janelle Lavoie of Oro Valley, AZ, and her husband's children; Marion Gawel, Jr., Michael Gawel, Patricia Piros, Anne Gawel and Marjorie Mercer; and 8 grandchildren along with 1 great grandchild. She is also survived by her brother, Jack Martignetti.
