Linda W. Colleton

Mrs. Linda Warren Colleton, 42, of Yemassee, entered into rest Friday morning, September 23, 2016, at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted 1 o’clock Wednesday afternoon, September 28, 2016, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.  Interment will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.

The family will receive friends for viewing prior to the service beginning at 12 noon.

Mrs. Colleton was born July 1, 1974 to Mrs. Gail Ellis and the late Mr. James Warren.   She attended the Colleton County Public School and received her diploma from James Madison Institute in January of 2005.  She worked at Walterboro High School as a teacher assistant and later she was employed at Motel 6 in Walterboro as a desk clerk until her health began to fail.  Linda loved the outdoors, enjoying fishing and crabbing.  She adored her dogs, especially Rocky and Lucky.

Linda was joined in Holy Matrimony to Anthony Colleton, and leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Anthony; mother Gail; sisters, Kim Jackson of Bamberg, Jimmie Jenkins (Bennie) of Walterboro; sister-in-law, Lawanda Kyles of Killan, Texas; uncle, Victor Warren (Jane) of Summerville; aunts, Emada McDonald of Ladson, Donna Eddy of Columbia, Aunts-in-law, Mary Colleton, Ada Grante (Bruce), Jeanette Washington of Walterboro and Linda Garrett (Nathan) of Yemassee; nieces, Brianna Jenkins, Tanner Jackson, and Kyra Kyle; nephews, Hunter Jackson, Madison Jackson, Bennie Jenkins, Jr., and Kaiden Kyle; special cousins, April and Sahara James; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as relatives and friends.
