Ms. Linda Crosby Brant, 71, of Branchville, entered into eternal rest Sunday, August 25, 2024, at The Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg.
Born August 13, 1953, in Colleton County, she was a daughter of the late Joe Crosby and Helen Smoak Crosby. She was a member of Hunters Chapel Baptist Church. She enjoyed painting, drawing, and sewing, and especially loved baking and working with her flowers. She was known for her sense of humor and her “firecracker” nature. Known as “Nana” by her grandchildren that she adored, she deeply loved her family and her dog, Precious.
Surviving are: her sons, Brian Ayer and his wife Shanna of Smoaks and Brandon Ayer and his wife Natalie of Bamberg; grandchildren, Ashley Ayer Hutto (Zeb), Tyler Ayer (Autumn), Chance Ayer (Chay), Kolton Ayer, Kylee Ayer, Aubreigh Zissett, and Anzlee Zissett; great grandchildren, Cullen Hutto, Braxton Hutto, Oaklynn Ayer, and Adalynn Ayer; close friends, Clyde Ayer and Mary Gray; brothers, Jimmy Crosby and his wife Nancy of Branchville and Ricky Crosby and his wife Cheryl of Smoaks; sisters, Gail Bozard and her husband Buster of Bamberg and Wanda Priester and her husband Darryl of Bamberg; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 6 o’clock, Friday evening, August 30, 2024, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Ehrhardt. The family will receive friends following the service until 8 pm.
