Lillie Carolyn Stephenson

Mrs. Lillie Carolyn Stephenson, 79, of Walterboro, South Carolina, entered into rest Tuesday, November 1, 2021, in Walterboro. She was married for sixty years to Mr. Richard Clayton Stephenson, Sr.

Born December 26, 1941, in Greenville County, South Carolina, she was a daughter to the late Mr. Robert Arthur Murr and the late Mrs. Stella Mae Styles Murr. Lillie loved her family, was a faithful Christian and devoted member of the Edgewood Baptist Church in Walterboro for fifty-five years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by, her son, Richard C. Stephenson, Jr. and his wife Terrie; her daughter, Stella Ann Stephenson; grandchildren, Charles Clayton Fennessy, Robert Bailey Fennessy, Ashlynn Leigh Stephenson, and Richard Cameron Stephenson. She is also survived by her sisters, Linda Sue Galloway and Mary Nell Dunn.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, William Robert Stephenson.
