Mrs. Lila Eudell Crosby Bazzle, 82, of Peurifoy Road, Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Friday, February 26, 2010 at her daughters residence. She was the widow of Henry R. Bazzle, Sr.



Funeral services will be held 11 am, Monday, March 1, 2010 at the Walterboro Church of God with Reverend John Harbin officiating. Interment will follow in Bedon Baptist Church Cemetery.



Mrs. Bazzle was born March 6, 1927 in Colleton County and was a daughter of the late Perry Crosby and Inez Stanfield Crosby Bazzle. She was a member of Walterboro Church of God. She loved sewing and making quilts; but especially loved working with her flowers.



Surviving are: her children, Henry H. Bazzle, Jr. and his wife Helen of Walterboro, Hazel B. Morris of Walterboro, Carolyn Stanley and her husband Charles of Hampton and Lila Sloan and her husband Bobby of Walterboro; brothers, Benjamin Crosby of Savannah, Georgia, Oscar Crosby of Walterboro and Charles Bazzle of Walterboro; sisters, Pearl Brabham of Walterboro, Doris Morrall of Walterboro and Jeanette Crosby of Walterboro; 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 1 brother.
