Lester Ann Jarrell Mcmillan

Mrs. Lester Ann Jarrell McMillan, 58, of Gardners Walk in Cross, entered into rest Thursday morning, April 11, 2013, at her residence.

A celebration of her life will be conducted 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon, April 14, 2013, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Varnville. The Reverend Dr. Thomas Kelly officiating.

The family will receive friends following the funeral ceremony until 4 o’clock that afternoon at the mortuary.

Born September 4, 1954, a native of Hampton County, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Frank Lester Jarrell and the late Myrtis Gray Jarrell. She was a member of the Brunson Baptist Church and will be fondly remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and she will be truly missed.

Surviving are: one son, Joshua David McMillan and his fiancée, Dana Grimsley of Cross; and three sisters, Margie J. Corbin and her husband Kenneth of Varnville, Sherry J. Crosby and her husband Hillard of Grays, and Tammy Rogers and her husband David of Anderson. There is one grandchild, Joshua David McMillan that also survives. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Mishoe.
