Leonard Irwin Smith

Mr. Leonard Irwin Smith, a beloved resident of the Veteran's Victory House in Walterboro, SC entered into rest Wednesday morning, April 22, 2026. He was the loving husband of forty-three years to the late Mrs. Nancy Anne Rogers Smith and adopted father of Tammie Lynn Smith Itzka. He had served faithfully in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Leonard was a hard worker and faithful provider for his family. He enjoyed duck hunting, fishing and foraging ferns, laurel, and bark to sell at a local floral distribution warehouse. Bowling was his favorite recreational pastime.

Most importantly, Leonard was a Christian who loved Jesus and faithfully brought his bible with him when foraging and hunting.

We will miss you until we meet again.
