Mr. Leland Nelson Matice, II, 59, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Sunday evening, November 28, 2021, at his residence.
Born September 21, 1962 in Rome, New York, he was a son of Leland Nelson Matice and Marilyn C. Smith Matice. He was a HVAC Tech and had worked for Advance Heat Pump in Johnson City, Tennessee. He was a member of Faith Church-Walterboro and believed in the scripture, “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.” He loved deer hunting and fishing. His lifelong dream was to own a Harley and became a reality a few years ago.
Surviving are: his wife of 13 years, Angela Isaacs-Matice of Walterboro; children, Ashley Matice, Jessica Rios, and Bethany Isaacs; grandson, Xaiden Rios; sister, Melody Pinson; and his beloved fur babies, Lola, Lucy, and Minnie.
