Larry Moore

Mr. Larry Olynn Moore, 76, of Ridgeland, passed away Friday evening, June 14, 2024, at Beaufort Memorial Hospital.

Born May 28, 1948, in Colleton County, he was a son of the late Lawrence Olynn Moore and Lucia Varn Moore.  He was a retired carpenter.  Larry loved fishing, restoring and working on old cars, and dearly loved his family.

Surviving are: his children, Adam Moore (Allison) of Walterboro, Scottie Moore (Jennifer) of Walterboro, and Kim Moore (Mike) of Hemingway; sister, Cindy Gibbons (Kenneth) of Walterboro; brother, James Moore (Merilee) of Beaufort; 10 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Lee Moore; sisters, Helen Weatherford and Alice Barrineau; and brothers, Donnie Moore, Russell Moore, and Joseph Moore.

Funeral services will be held 11 o’clock, Tuesday morning, June 18, 2024, at The Brice Herndon Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel.  Interment will follow in Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, 4931 Black Creek Road, Walterboro.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation from 10 o’clock until the hour of service.
