Larry Drawdy

Mr. Joel Laricey Larry Drawdy, 72, of 782 Phillips Road, entered into eternal rest, Sunday, April 4, 2010 at his residence under the care of Sanctuary Hospice.



Funeral services will be held 3 pm, Tuesday, April 6, 2010, at Sandy Dam United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The visitation will be held from 2 pm until the hour of service at the church.



Mr. Drawdy was born January 6, 1938 in Walterboro and was a son of the late Lewis Cleveland Drawdy and Narcissa Hoats Drawdy. He served his country in the United States Army and was a retired auto mechanic and welder.



Surviving are: his daughters, Michelle Drawdy Grant and Suzanne Snead Cole (Frazier) of Walterboro; sisters, Caroline Drawdy Ellis of Chattanooga, TN, Marie Drawdy Robertson of Columbia and Ta Drawdy Evans of Walterboro; grandchildren, Johnathan Griffard, Gerald Griffard, Andrew Myers, Phillip Cole, Jessie Cole and Zane Cole; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lewis Cleveland Drawdy, Jr. and Betty Lou Drawdy Gleaton.
