Kevin Macneir

Mr. Kevin MacNeir,37, of Varnville, S.C. died Saturday, June 15, 2013, at his residence. He was the husband of Waynette Brunson MacNeir.

Funeral services will be at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, June 18, 2013 at the Varnville Chapel of The Brice W. Herndon & Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Grimes Cemetery.

He was born February 15, 1976, in Charleston, S.C., and was a son of Linda Crosby Sumler and Kenny MacNeir. He was formerly employed by Hampton Auto Center. He also loved hunting, fishing and collecting die cast cars.

Surviving in addition to his wife of 10 years, are his children: Kaisee, Kameron, and Kaiden MacNeir of the home; his mother and stepfather who raised him, Odis Sumler of Varnville; his father of Charleston; a brother, Steven (Lisa) MacNeir of Hilton Head; a sister, Amber Sumler of Varnville, and his grandfather, Wayne Foreman of Charleston. He is also survived by his mother-in-law and father-in-law: Dorothy and Wayne Brunson of Grays, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Faye and Krey Lowther of Ridgeland. Three nephews also survive: Krey Lee Lowther of Ridgeland, Dalton MacNeir of Hilton Head, and Braydon Sumler of Varnville.
