Mr. Justin Alan Orenstein, 36, of Johns Island, entered into rest Wednesday evening, July 29, 2020.
Born August 1, 1983, in Miami, Florida, he was the son of Craig Barnett Orenstein and Kelly Parsons Orenstein. He received his Bachelors in Business from the University of West Georgia; having been a baseball player and team pitcher. It was his phenomenal ability and skill with sports that won him many accolades and athletic scholarships. Justin was an experienced Commercial Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the security and investigations industry. He possessed strong operational and professional skills in sales, loss prevention, fire alarm, account managements, and closed-circuit televisions. He was the type of person that lit up any room that he entered and was a genius in his own mind. He loved sports and his family. He lived a life that was loved and the world was a little better having known him.
He is survived by his wife who knew him as her best friend, Katina Jones Orenstein; a sister, Alyssa Jordan Micklos and her husband Joseph and their son, Rhett James Micklos; and grandparents, Barbara J. Orenstein and Faye Webb Parsons. He was preceded in death by his and Katina’s two boys, Jaiden and Kaiden; and his grandparents, Stanley J. Orenstein and Alva R. Parsons.
A celebration of Justin’s life will be conducted 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon, August 8, 2020, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The family will receive friends following the funeral ceremony.
