Justin Keith Nettles

Mr. Justin Keith Nettles, 26, of Varnville, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2015.

Funeral services will be held 3 pm, Thursday, September 10, 2015 at First Christian Church, 400 West Holly Street, Hampton.  Interment will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery, Pocotaligo Road, Varnville.

Born August 29, 1989, he was the son of Bobby Keith Nettles and Sherri Rahn Nettles.  He was a Correctional Officer at the Federal Correctional Institution in Estill.  He was a member of First Christian Church in Hampton.  Justin loved hunting, fishing, and being in the water.  He was always full of life, had a wonderful sense of humor, and never met a stranger.  Justin will always be remembered for his caring heart and for always being there for anyone who knew him.  Most of all, Justin loved his daughter, Rae Rae who was the light of his life, and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are: his wife, Nicole Winn Nettles of Varnville; daughter, Raegan Alexis Nettles of Varnville; parents, Keith and Sherri Nettles of Varnville; grandmother, Linda Rahn of Islandton; great grandmother, Erma Adams of Varnville; sisters, Kaycee Jordan Nettles of Varnville and Kennedy Jade Nettles of Varnville; nieces, Kaylan Elizabeth Nettles of Varnville and Karleigh Lynn Nettles of Varnville; a dear cousin he loved as a father, Kenny Rahn of Walterboro; aunts and uncles, Kevin and Marie Nettles of Grays, Kelly Nettles and Laniece Mock of Nixville, Greg and Anne Rahn of Islandton, Hank and Robin Drawdy of Hampton, and Michael and Laurin DeLoach of Summerville; mother and father –in-law, Roger and Lisa Winn of Varnville; brothers-in-law, Alan and Bethany Winn and their children of Estill, and Jonathan Winn of Varnville; many cousins; and his chocolate lab, “Ace”, who was his faithful sidekick.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bozie Rahn, and Bobby “Pop Pop” and Patricia Nettles; and an uncle, Scott Rahn.
