Julius "Dulie" Breland

Mr. Julius Augustus Breland, III, known by many as “Dulie” age 59, of Fire Hill Road, Walterboro, entered into rest Friday evening, October 31, 2014, at his residence.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, November 4, 2014, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. The Reverend Ralph Warren officiating. Interment will follow in Doctor’s Creek Baptist Churchyard, 126 Doctor’s Creek Road, Walterboro.

Born May 24, 1955, a native of Colleton County, he was a son of the late Julius Augustus Breland, Jr. and the late Mary Lee Robertson Breland. He worked in the construction industry having been employed by Wayne Brothers, Inc. in North Carolina. He will be fondly remembered for his love of fishing.

Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Patsy Gaddy; five children, Dustin Nunley of Chillicothe, Ohio, Misty Breland and Shanna Breland both of Abbeville, Benjamin Gaddy of North Charleston, and Cheyenne Gaddy of Columbia; a brother, Timothy D. Breland of Abbeville; and two sisters, Kathryn Pace of Spartanburg and Cheryl Vogel of Sumter. There are six grandchildren. He was preceded closely in death by his brother and best friend, Mark Anthony Breland.
