Joyce A. Jones

Ms. Joyce A. Jones, 65, of North Charleston, entered into rest Monday, August 29, 2022, at the John Island Post Acute Care.  She was the wife of the late Mr. J. D. Mizzell.

Born December 27, 1956, in Stuttgart, Germany, she was a daughter of the late General A. Ayers and the late Carolyn Weirman Ayers.

Surviving are: a son Troy Mizzell; a daughter, Susan Bates (Jeremy); and a brother, David Ayers (Cathy).

Funeral services will be conducted 11 o’clock Friday morning, September 2, 2022, from the graveside in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
