COTTAGEVILLE " Mr. Joseph Molnar, 80, of 11310 Cottageville Highway, entered into his eternal rest Sunday, September 20, 2009, at Trident Medical Center in Charleston.
Funeral services will be held 1 oclock Friday afternoon, September 25, 2009, at Cottageville Baptist Church, 11643 Cottageville Highway, Cottageville. Interment will follow Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive, North Charleston.
Mr. Molnar was born March 23, 1929 in Eckley, Pennsylvania and was a son of the late John and Anna Biros Molnar. Mr. Molnar served his country in the United States Army and retired from the Military Sealift Command. He faithfully attended Cottageville Baptist Church. He found his joy in spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren and will be remembered for his love of working in his garden when he was able. He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Hilton.
Surviving are his children, Celeste Harmon of Charleston, Marilyn Stone of Cottageville and Clinton Stewart, Jr. of Goose Creek; grandchildren, Elaine Clark, Clinton Stewart, III, Ashley Stewart and Heather Bradley; great grandchildren, Christin Clark, Nicholas Clark, Faith Stewart, Julia Bradley and Victor Toro; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, John and Michael; and sisters, Elsie, Mary and Anna.
