Joseph Hawkins

Mr. Jospeh Matthew Hawkins, 31, of Walterboro, entered into rest Sunday, July 7, 2019.

Born February 28, 1988, he was a son of Carolyn Marie Campbell Wilson and Joseph Stewart Hawkins.  Joe was a longtime employee of the Huddle House on Bells Highway in Walterboro, where he was a familiar face and well known friend to many of the locals.  He possessed a great talent with drawing and enjoyed singing.  He will always be remembered for his loving and giving heart.

Surviving are: his mother, Carolyn Wilson and her husband Ervin of Walterboro; his father, Joseph of Walterboro; step-father, William Donald Kenyon, II; his wife, Stephanie Hawkins; two daughters, Zoey Hawkins and Rebecca Kitchens; two brothers, Walter Brandon Hawkins of Maine and William Donald Kenyon, III of Walterboro; a sister, Katelyn Nicole Kenyon of Walterboro; his grandfather, John Hawkins; his grandmother, Geraldine Folk; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends during a time of visitation this Saturday evening, July 13, 2019, from 6 o’clock until 8 o’clock at THE BRICE W.
