Joseph Craven

Mr. Joseph Norman Craven, Jr., 62, of 313 Rambler Way, Cottageville, died Tuesday, Janury 27, 2009, at his residence.



The family will receive friends Friday evening, January 30, 2009 from 6:00 until 8:00 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes, Walterboro Chapel. Mr. Craven will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at Bedon Baptist Churchyard.



Mr. Craven was born September 1, 1946, in Charleston, and was a son of the late Joseph Norman Craven, Sr. and the late Dorothy Rowland Craven. He was of the Roman Catholic faith and will be remembered for his avid love of the outdoors and for fishing the local creeks of Colleton County.



Surviving are: his two sons, Johnny Craven and his wife Robin of Walterboro and Joseph Craven and his wife Amber of Moncks Corner; and three grandchildren, Brittany Craven, Abigail Craven, and Tony Craven.
