Mr. Joseph Stanley Arabis, 83, of Walterboro, entered into rest Thursday evening, November 3, 2016, at the Trident Medical Center in North Charleston.
A memorial celebration of his life was held 4 o’clock Sunday afternoon, November 6, 2016, from Frist Assembly of God, 2107 Hampton Street, Walterboro.
Born May 6, 1933, in Hazleton, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Water Arabis and the late Sophia Petrosky Arabis. He had worked for the South Carolina Commission for The Blind, was a member of First Assembly of God in Walterboro, and was a Gideon.
Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Grace T. Arabis; three sons, Joseph Arabis, Thomas Arabis, and Robert Arabis of Walterboro; 12 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
