Mr. Johnny Vander Beach, Jr., 58, of Fox Field Road, Walterboro, entered into rest Tuesday evening, February 12, 2013, at his residence.
Funeral services will be conducted 4 o'clock Monday afternoon, February 18, 2013, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.
The family will receive friends following the funeral ceremony at the mortuary.
Born November 28, 1954, a native and lifelong resident of Walterboro, he was the son of Mr. Johnny Vander Beach, Sr. and the late Betty Jo Jones Beach. Johnny was a sheriff's deputy from the Colleton County Sherriff's Office and was also a policeman with the Edisto Beach Police Department. He was a member Hendersonville Baptist Church. Johnny will be fondly recalled for his gentle and sweet spirit, a person who never meet a stranger, and that loved softball and hunting large game American Whitetail Deer.
Surviving in addition to his father of Walterboro are: a sister, Kathy Koth of Walterboro; a niece, Heather Koth Mosley of Columbia; and a great niece, LaQuasia Mosley; as well as special friends, Trent Canady, Amy Ritchie, Nancy Insley, and David Pollard and family.
