Mr. Johnnie Ray Faulkenberry, 53, of Walterboro, passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 at his residence.
A memorial service will be held 6 pm, Thursday, September 17, 2015 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Johnnie was born March 13, 1962 in Walterboro and was a son of John Henry Faulkenberry and Verona Bazzle Faulkenberry. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. Most of all he was a loving husband and father who deeply loved his family.
Surviving are: his wife, Louise Faulkenberry of Walterboro; mother, Verona Faulkenberry of Walterboro; children, Heather Fugee of New Jersey, Jessica Faulkenberry of New Jersey, and Christopher “Toad” Faulkenberry and his wife Christina of Walterboro; step-children, Jason Smoak of Walterboro, Patrick Smoak of Walterboro, Felecia Thames of Brunson, William Thames. Jr. of Varnville, and Roy Thames of Varnville; sisters, Janie Crosby of Walterboro and Tammy Hiott of Walterboro; and grandchildren, Sean, Adrianna, Presley, Braylon, Addie, Desteny, James, Mariah-Ann, and Emma.
