Johnathan Cox

WALTERBORO " Mr. Johnathan Wade Cox, 21, of 76 Dove Lane, Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Monday evening, November 24, 2008, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Colleton County.



Funeral services will be conducted at 11 oclock Saturday morning, November 29, 2008 from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro with Reverend James Baker officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Cemetery, Lindsey Road, Round O.



Johnathan was born December 30, 1986 in Charleston, SC and was the son of Daniel Len Cox and Susan Strickland Cox. He worked as an Engineer with RBC-Linear; as well as having worked at Food Lion/Reids. A graduate of Walterboro High School, Class of 2005, he was currently a student at Trident Technical College, where he was earning an Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Johnathan attended Glory Bound Ministries and Welch Creek Baptist Church. He was an avid sportsman and loved outdoors.



Surviving him in addition to his parents of Walterboro are: his wife, Heather Smith Cox of Varnville; brother, Daniel Len Cox, II of Walterboro; twin sister, Suzanna Leigh Cox of Walterboro; parents-in-law, Keith and Kathy Smith of Varnville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was the beloved uncle to his nephew, Cody Len Cox and his nieces, Grace Ann Cox and Bailey Hope Cox, all of Walterboro.
