John Thomas "Tommy" Green

John "Tommy" Thomas Green, 72, of Walterboro went to be with the Lord Friday, December 18, 2020.  Mr. Green was born December 28, 1948 in Honea Path, South Carolina, a son to the late Mr. John Correll Green and the late Mrs. Sarah Nettie Harvey Green.

Mr. John graduated from Swansboro High School in Swansboro, North Carolina.  Shortly after graduating he enlisted in the United States Air Force.  After serving twenty years of service, he retired with the rank of Staff Sergeant.  He loved all sports and could tell you anything you wanted to know about any sport.  He loved to bowl and achieved many bowling trophies over the years.  He was employed at Piggly Wiggly.

He leaves behind his daughter, Jamie Lynn Acuna of Huston, Texas; and his sister, Janet McJunkin of Anderson, South Carolina; brother, James "Jim" Edward Green of Ridgeville, South Carolina.
