Mr. John Thomas Soprano, III, age 24, of 961 Lavington East Lane in Green Pond, entered into his state of eternal rest Saturday afternoon, March 13, 2010, at Lavington Plantation in Green Pond.
The relatives and friends of the Soprano family are invited to attend the funeral services of John Thomas Soprano, III, which will be conducted Wednesday evening, March 17, 2010, at 6 oclock from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.
John was born February 27, 1986, in Schenectady, New York and was a son of Mr. John Thomas Soprano, Jr. and Mrs. Rhonda Shepard Soprano. He was a graduate of Walterboro High School, Class of 2004 and was currently receiving his formal education at the University of South Carolina in Columbia where he was receiving his Business Administration degree with plans to graduate in April. He was a member of Bedon Baptist Church in Walterboro and was employed with Lavington Plantation in Green Pond. John had a character and personality that will always be fondly remembered by anyone that came across his path. He loved to help people and had worked with the Habitat for Humanity. He possessed an avid love for the outdoors, was a skilled golfer and always enjoyed a hunt for any type of wild game. John also shared a love for a good game of football.
Surviving are: his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Thomas Soprano, Jr. of Green Pond; a brother, Anthony Paul Soprano of Green Pond; and his maternal grandparents, Roland and Helen Shepard of East Worcester, New York. He is also survived by a large and loving family to include a host of wonderful aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members.
