John Edward Rucker

Mr. John Edward Rucker, 66, entered into rest Thursday evening, July 12, 2018, at his home in Lodge.

Born June 12, 1952, in Washington, District of Columbia , he was a son of the late Thomas and Emily Houston Rucker.  He was the owner of Rucker Contractors and will always be remembered for his love of riding Harley Davidson’s.

Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Amanda R. Rucker; a son, Glenn Vincent Rhodes; two daughters, Chrystal Lynn Rucker and Angel Marie Rucker; three brothers, Joe, Tommy, and Charlie; and a sister, June; as well as five grandchildren, Darren, Christopher, Cheyenne, Charlie, and Isabella.  He was preceded in death by a son, John Edward Rucker, Jr.; a brother, Pat; and two sisters, Marie and Rose.
