John Boozer Reeves, Jr.

Mr. John Boozer Reeves, Jr., 68, entered into rest Thursday morning, December 26, 2019, at his home in Hampton.

Born January 22, 1951, in Savannah, Georgia, he was a son of the late John Boozer Reeves, Sr. and the late Betty Ackerman Stone.  He was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator and dearly loved motorcycles.

Surviving are: his wife of forty-one years, Mrs. Donna Altman Reeves; three children, Krystall Reeves Krajeski and her husband Brandon of Walterboro, John William Reeves and his wife Jessica of Walterboro, and Candace Reeves of Hampton; his step-mother, Jeanette Ackerman Reeves of Cottageville; a sister, Lilly J. Reeves Barton of Chattanooga, Tennessee; three brothers, Danny Lee Reeves of Cottageville, Berry Allen Reeves of Walterboro, and Chris Stone of Walterboro; and eight grandchildren, Heather Thornton, Charles Thornton, Mathew Thornton, Lilliana Russo, Bradley Krajeski, Dawson Krajeski, Adam Reeves, and Gabriel Rennow.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis and George Reeves; and his step-father, Angris Stone.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 o’clock Monday afternoon, December 30, 2019, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.  Interment will follow in the Fox Cemetery, Wesley Grove Road, Walterboro.
