John Carrol Miller

Mr. John Carrol Miller, 56, of Walterboro, entered into rest Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at his residence.

Mr. Miller was born August 20, 1964 in Orangeburg. He loved being in the outdoors and surrounded by nature.  He never turned his back on anyone, always helping others by giving rides or helping in any way that he could.  He never met a stranger and was a friend to everyone. He was also a die-hard Clemson Tiger fan.  John dearly loved his family.  He was a one in a million step-dad, but always claimed and treated them as his own.  One of his favorite pastimes was riding the golf cart with his grandchildren.

Surviving are: his loving companion, Linda Walling Copeland of Walterboro; step children, Thomas Copeland, Melinda Copeland, Patricia Walker, and Linda “Kaylee” Walling, all of Walterboro; 8 step grandchildren; brothers, Rickey Hooker and William Miller, both of Orangeburg; and a sister, Lisa Miller.

Funeral services will be held 3 o’clock, Friday afternoon, March 12, 2021 at The Brice Herndon Funeral Chapel, Walterboro.
