Mr. John Andrew Hackney, 51, of Ehrhardt, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Hampton Regional Medical Center.
A memorial service will be held a 11 o’clock, Friday, June 2, 2017 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Ehrhardt-Bamberg Chapel.
Born May 7, 1966 in Bamberg, he was a son of Russell Abner Hackney and the late Martha Ann Dannelly Hackney. He was the owner of a cotton gin repair service. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing.
Surviving are: his dad, Russell Hackney of Fairfax; his daughters, Leslie Ann Hackney and Neeley Ann Hackney, both of Blackville; brother, Russell Danny Hackney and his wife Maxine of Ehrhardt; and special friend, Jennifer Ayer of Ehrhardt.
