John Edward Greenwell

Mr. John Edward Greenwell, age 79, entered into rest Tuesday morning, September 27, 2016, at his home in Walterboro.
Funeral services with full military honors will be conducted 10 o’clock Monday morning, October 3, 2016, from the Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street, Beaufort.
Born January 27, 1937, in Mount Vernon, Indiana, he was a son of John Houston Greenwell and Agnes Emory Greenwell. He served our country faithfully in the United States Air Force retiring as a flight engineer after twenty years of faithful service. Mr. Greenwell loved working with his hand and also “tinkering” with old cars. Another of his greatest joys in life was spoiling his grandchildren.
Surviving are: four children, Suay Al-Aziz and her husband Saad of Texas, John Houston Greenwell and his wife Kim of Walterboro, John Edward Greenwell of France, and Christine Roux of France; three brothers, James Greenwell, Carl Greenwell, and Danny Greenwell; four grandchildren, Steeve Greenwell, Darian Crossey, Johnathan Dowdell, and Samora Al-Aziz; and three great grandchildren.
