Biography

Mr. John Elliot Anderson, 22, of Anderson Lane, Brunson, entered into eternal rest Saturday, November 5, 2011.

Funeral services will be held 3 pm, Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Varnville-Hampton Chapel. Interment will follow in Anderson Cemetery in Cummings.

John was born August 8, 1989 in Beaufort and is a son of Timothy Gerald Anderson and Karen Marie White Anderson. He was a member of Deep Branch Baptist Church, where he played on the church softball team. He loved hunting and fishing, but most of all, he enjoyed life and will be forever remembered for his free spirit and never-ending smile.

Surviving are: his parents, Tim and Karen Anderson of Brunson; sister, Kimberly Anderson of Brunson; brothers, Charles Anderson, Christopher Anderson and his wife Sierra, and Alfredo Weekly, all of Brunson; grandmothers, Joyce Knight and her husband Arnie of Brunson, and Novice Anderson of Early Branch; grandfathers, Richard White, Sr. and Jack Wellmon, both of Brunson; niece and nephew, Willow Anderson and Van Anderson of Brunson; aunts and uncles, Edward and Allison Anderson of Brunson, Marlene and Tony Terry of Hampton, Chris Anderson of Yemassee and Richard White, Jr. of New Jersey; and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Marvin Anderson.
