Mrs. Jo Ann Wolfe Grimes, 62, of 90 Gentry Lane, Walterboro, died Friday morning, October 31, 2008, at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She was the wife of the late Mr. Herbert Allen Grimes.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 oclock Monday morning, November 3, 2008, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro with The Reverend Tim Stoe officiating. Interment will follow in Cravens Rose Garden Cemetery, Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
Mrs. Grimes was born July 21, 1946, in Charleston and was a daughter of the late Leon E. and Elizabeth Wolfe. She was of the Southern Baptist Faith and will be remembered for the love she had for her family.
Surviving are: four sons, Thomas E. McRae of Walterboro, William A. McRae of Ruffin, John Allen Grimes of Greenville and Joseph Patrick Grimes of Ridgeville; three daughters, Jan Pyrlik of Cleveland, Tennessee, Diana Craig of Hoschton, Georgia, and Eleanor Robertson of Enterprise, Alabama; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
