Joan Davis

Mrs. Joan Valerie Northcutt Davis, 71, of Yemassee, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2020 at her residence.

Born April 9, 1949 in National City, California, she was a daughter of the late Virgil Lee Northcutt and Joan Martin Northcutt Buckley.  She loved crafting, was very artisitc, enjoyed reading and was a movie buff, especially of murder mysteries.  She was a wonderful and loving person that lived for her family and especially enjoyed cooking for her family, always trying something new.

Surviving are: her husband of 52 years, Charles “Chuck” Davis of Yemassee; children, Heather Lee Weiss and her husband Michael of Yemassee and Anthony Glen Davis of Granite Falls, Washington; grandchildren, Jazzmyne Lace Weiss, Lucas Charles Weiss, and Cassandra Davis; and brothers, Sandy Lee Northcutt of Granbury, Texas and Tyrone Northcutt of Haskell, Oklahoma.
