Jimmy Roberts

Mr. Jimmy Bruce Roberts, 74, of Walterboro, entered into rest Monday evening, February 20, 2023, at Trident Medical Center in North Charleston.

Born July 2, 1949, in Columbia, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Bruce and Bessie Pearson Roberts.   He was the owner of Clover Environmental in Walterboro.  He was an avid Gamecock fan and was a very talented artist.

Surviving are: his wife, Mrs. Faye Montgomery Roberts; a son, Chris Roberts (Stephanie); three step-children, Michael Church (Lisa), Chris Church (Valerie), and David Church (Taffney); a sister, Patsy Jameson; a brother-in-law,  Jim Driggers; seven grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Joan Driggers.

Because of his love for animals, the family has requested that memorials be directed in his memory to: Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter, 33 Poor Farm Road, Walterboro, South Carolina 29488.

A memorial service will be held at 1 o’clock Saturday afternoon, February 25, 2023, on the grounds of The South Forty, 665 Benjamin Drive, Round O.
