Biography
Mr. James "Jimmie" Franklin Hudson, Jr., 54, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Sunday, February 19, 2012.
Mr. Hudson was born November 21, 1957 in Walterboro and was a son of the late James Franklin Hudson, Sr. and Ernestine Broadway Hudson. He graduated from Ruffin High School. He loved all sports and was an avid Carolina Gamecocks fan. One of the great loves of his life was bowling. He bowled on several teams in the Lowcountry and competed at the regional and national levels.
Most people knew Jimmie through his employment. He was known for his knowledge of auto and truck parts. For the majority of his working life, he was employed with his uncle, the late C. Neil Hudson, at North Walterboro Auto Electric, but more recently was employed with Pioneer and Car Quest Auto Parts.
Surviving are: his wife, Bonnie Avant Hudson of Walterboro; brother, George Palmer Hudson of Walterboro; and step granddaughter, Jennifer Leigh Kirby of Walterboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations may be made in Jimmie's memory at The Bank of Walterboro.
