Mrs. Jewell Smith Waltz, 90, of Smoaks, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Colleton Medical Center. She was the widow of the late Robert L. Robbie Waltz.
Graveside funeral services will be held 11 am, Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Smoaks Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Waltz was born February 20, 1923 in Smoaks and was a daughter of the late Addie Smith and Mary Edna Smith. She was a retired inspector from Smoaks Dress Company. She was a faithful member of Smoaks Baptist Church, where she was a former Sunday School Teacher, member of the WMU and served communion for many years. She will always be remembered for the love she had for her family, her church and her animals.
Surviving are: her children, Robert G. Bobby Waltz of Smoaks and Ann Waltz Padgett of Smoaks; grandchildren, Jimmy Bunton, Chris Bunton, Joy B. Craven, Shan Padgett, and Crystal Padgett Warren; and great grandchildren, Nicole Bunton, Danielle Bunton, Jordan Craven, Garrett Craven and Kaylee Warren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Grace Bunton; and two sons-in-law, James Franklin Bunton and Graham Padgett.
