Mr. Jessie Ivan Crosby, 73, of Walterboro, passed away Monday, January 16, 2017 at Pruitt Healthcare in Walterboro.
Funeral services will be held 2 o’clock Thursday, January 19, 2017 at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, Walterboro Chapel. Interment will follow in Mount Carmel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
Born September 26, 1944, he was a son of the late Calvin Crosby, Sr. and Elizabeth Crosby. He was a self-employed logger, loved working on his old Ford trucks, and loved his dogs.
Surviving are: his companion, Frances Mizell of Walterboro; sister, Betty Hewitt (Paul) of Walterboro; sister-in-law, Jeannette Crosby of Walterboro; and nieces and nephews, Calvin Crosby, III, Pam Robertson (Timmy), Craig Lewis (Terry), and Donna Crosby, all of Walterboro. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Calvin Crosby, Jr., Charles Crosby, and Clyde Crosby.
