Jessica Jones

Ms. Jessica Paige Jones, 40, of Walterboro, passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at her residence.  Born January 29, 1981 in Augusta, Georgia, she was a daughter of Ronald W. Jones and Terry Hoffpauir Newman.  She was a nursing assistant.  Jessica was always full of life and laughter, but life’s circumstances would get in the way.  She loved and believed in Jesus and always said, “God is my anchor.”

Surviving are: her parents, Ronald W. Jones of Walterboro, and Terry Hoffpauir Newman and her husband Jerry Bellamy of Sumter; sons, Guy Hunter Wilson of Sumter and Wyatt Leonidas Branton of Walterboro; sister, Shyra Marie Reitz of Columbia; and a nephew, Joshua Bailey Wilferd.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Guy Courtney Jones; and her grandmothers, Bernice Marie Hoffpauir and Eva Drawdy Jones.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday afternoon, May 8, 2021 from 4 until 6 pm at her mother’s home, 255 Freedom Boulevard, Sumter, South Carolina 29154.
