Mr. Jesse Clyde Branham, Jr., 75, of Walterboro, entered into rest Thursday morning, August 20, 2026. He was the loving husband of the late Mrs. Patsy Colson Branham.

Born December 27, 1950, in Charleston, South Carolina, he was a son of the late Jesse C. Branham, Sr. and the late Catherine Sigwald Branham. A graduate of Murray Vocational High School in Charleston, he worked at AC Heating and Airconditioning until his retirement. Following his retirement, he worked at the Home Depot in West Ashley and was best known for the many years of work at Westbury Ace Hardware in Walterboro. Jesse was a well-known employee of Ace Hardware, where over the years he became a trusted friend to countless folks.

He was a member of Saint Peter’s Episcopal Church in Charleston. He was a member and Past Master of Round Lodge No. 270 – Ancient Free Masons and had also served as the Past Grand Marshall in the South Carolina Grand Masonic Lodge. He will always be remembered for the love in his heart and the generosity that he showed others. He dearly loved and enjoyed riding motorcycles.

Surviving are: three children, Heather B. Cardone (Matt) of Greer, Amy L. Branham of Walterboro, and Jesse C. Branham, III of Walterboro, five grandchildren, Bailey Cardone, Dominic Cardone, Madison McCloud, Mason McDonald, and Reece McDonald; a sister, Penny Branham Walter of Charleston.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o’clock Tuesday morning, September 1, 2026, from The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Chapel, Walterboro. Interment with Masonic Rites will follow in Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
