Jerri Kaye Hall

Mrs. Jerri Kaye McCants Hall, 57, of North Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday morning, August 22, 2026, following an unexpected illness while working in Asheville, North Carolina.

Born July 24, 1969 in Lancaster, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late Jerry and Donna Kaye McCants. Jerri Kaye enjoyed her nursing career, working as an LPN and RN in long-term care for many years, then becoming a travel nurse. She took great pride in the care she provided for others. Jerri Kaye was always up for a good adventure (like swimming with sharks) and she loved the beach, especially with her family and friends. Jerri Kaye was known by many names, but Jer Bear was her favorite as it was given to her by her granddaughters.

She is survived by her loving, faithful husband of 37 years, David, two daughters, Elizabeth (Eli) Wilson of Lancaster, SC, and Alexis Hall of the home, three sons, Brandon (Casey) Hall, of Walterboro, Alex (Kirsten) Hall of Winston Salem, NC, and Blake Hall serving in the USAF. She has two granddaughters, Katie and Karleigh Hall of Walterboro. Jerri Kaye is also survived by her sister, Katherine (Dwayne) Long of Kershaw, SC, her beloved best friend, Lisa Bailey of Summerville, and three nieces, Kayla (Matt) Gaston, Kendall (Adam) Harrison, and Kassi Knight (Kaler Kowalski).

The family will receive friends as they celebrate Jerri Kaye’s life beginning at 5 o’clock PM with a presentation by the Nurses Honor Guard until 7 o’clock PM, on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at The Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Homes, Walterboro Chapel. The family requests attendees dress casually and in vivid colors.
