Mr. Jennings Jimmy Reynolds, 72, of 180 Mable T. Willis Blvd., Walterboro, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, June 23, 2009, at the Heritage Health Care Center in Walterboro. Mr. Reynolds was born November 9, 1936 in McCormick, South Carolina and was a son of the late Robert Eldred Reynolds and Irene Calla Shaw Reynolds. He was a retired heavy equipment operator with Buckfield Plantation and a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church #1. He was a devoted husband, father and family man.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 27, at 11:00 AM at the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home Walterboro Chapel. Burial will be in the Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Walterboro, South Carolina.
Surviving are his wife, Patsy Hill Reynolds; one son, Mike and wife, Tiffany, Reynolds of Sumter; two brothers, Buddy Reynolds and Willie Reynolds of Walterboro; three sisters, Elsie Padgett of Bonne Terre, Missouri and Lucille Ouzts of Edgefield, South Carolina; five grandchildren, Theresa Reynolds, Patty Reynolds, Alicia Biering, Christian Reynolds and Shelby Reynolds; and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Reynolds was predeceased by two sons, an infant son and Wayne Reynolds; a sister, Roberta Reynolds; and two brothers, Ray Reynolds and Lloyd Reynolds
The family will receive friends on Friday evening, June 26, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Brice W. Herndon and Sons Funeral Home, 1193 Bells Highway, Walterboro, South Carolina. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Colleton County Relay for Life.
