Jeanne Sammons

Mrs. Jeanne Sammons, 82, of Walterboro, entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 26, 2017 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Willie Alfred Sammons, Jr.
Graveside funeral services will be held 3 pm, Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2210 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro.
Born October 21, 1934 in Sylvania, Georgia, she was a daughter of the late Marion Powell and Lilla Waters Powell. She was a retired convenient store manager for Carmichael Oil. She loved the outdoors and working crossword puzzles. Most of all, she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.
Surviving are: her children, Al Sammons and his wife Rosemary of Sylvania, Georgia, and Renee Sammons of Walterboro; grandchildren, Nicole Bridge, Allison Brockman and her husband Squeaky, Paul Sammons and his wife Mallory, and Seth Sammons and his wife Miranda; great grandchildren, Timothy, Caleb, Morgan, Shyla, Noah, Adam, Jonah, Aren, Joel, and Xander; great great grandchildren, Ariana, Emma, and Blake; three whom she loved as her own, Gerald Bailey, Sandy Stanfield, and Brandy Standing; as well as 4 nieces. She was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Chloe Brockman.
