Biography
Mrs. Jeanette McLeod Strickland Trammell, age 78, of Walterboro, entered into rest Sunday evening, December 21, 2014, at the Colleton Medical Center in Walterboro. She was the widow of Mr. Robert Trammell.
Born April 25, 1936, a native of Darlington County, South Carolina she was a daughter of the late Perry Farr McLeod and the late Gladys Mood McLeod. She retired as a registered nurse from the Ralph H. Johnson Veteran's Administration Hospital in Charleston after a career that lasted almost fifty years. She was a member of Grace Advent Christian Church in Walterboro and was also a member of the American Legion. She will be fondly remembered for her love of gardening.
Surviving are: a brother, Bud McLeod and his wife Carolyn of Hartsville and a niece, Maggie G. Dority of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a nephew, Ronnie Dority.
