Jane Parker Raben

Mrs. Jane Parker Raben, 92, of Ellijay, Georgia, entered into rest Friday evening, November 17, 2023.   She was the wife of the late Mr. Louis William Raben, III.

Born October 15, 1931, in Hampton, South Carolina, she was a daughter of the late William J. Parker and the late Mae Reeves Parker.  She was a devoted homemaker and member of First Baptist Church Ellijay, Georgia, where she was active in choir and hospitality member. She also enjoyed being a longtime volunteer at the Ellijay Apple Festival.

Surviving are: a daughter, Jan Raben Rice; two sons, Louis Michael Raben, III and Michael Parker Raben; eleven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by a brother, Don Parker; and a sister, Edith Vincent.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, November 21, 2023, from the graveside at Crocketville Cemetery, 2610 Bamberg Highway, Hampton.   The family will greet friends following the service by the graveside.
