Jamie Hiott

North Augusta, SC—Funeral Services for Mr. James E. “Jamie” Hiott, Jr., 64, of Bolin Road, North Augusta, SC, who entered into rest March 30, 2017, will be conducted Monday morning at 11 o’clock from Posey Funeral Chapel. Reverend James D. Dennis, Jr. and Dr. T. Joseph Lusk officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Hiott was a native of Walterboro, South Carolina having made North Augusta his home for the past 40 years. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, a graduate of the Baptist College of Charleston and retired with 34 years of service from Mead Johnson Nutrition. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Buckner.

Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Pam Hiott; two sons and daughters-in-law, Trey and Lauren Hiott, North Augusta and Tyler and Katey Hiott, Greenville, SC; two daughters, Sarah Hiott, Columbia and Hannah Hiott, Charleston; four grandchildren, Lily Hiott, Ellie Hiott, Jameson Hiott and Mary Britton Hiott; his father, James E. Hiott, Sr., Walterboro; a brother, John Robert Hiott, Charleston; a sister, Beth Hiott Bolt, Chapin, SC.

Pallbearers will be Bubba Craven, Nick Flouras, Dwight Shearn, Justin Craven, Bill Smoak, Jim Stafford, Mike Proffitt and Randy Parks.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 4 to 6.
The family will be at the residence of Kay and Nick Flouras, 200 Post Oak Lane, North Augusta, SC.
