Biography

Mr. Jamie Lee Brower, 40, of Paradise Road, Ruffin, entered into rest Saturday morning, April 13, 2013, in Ruffin.

Funeral services will be conducted 4 o'clock Thursday afternoon, April 18, 2013, from the graveside at Glendale Memorial Cemetery, 2201 Mount Carmel Road, Walterboro. The Reverend James W. Williams, Jr. officiating.

Born October 3, 1972, a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, he was a son of Alan Glockner and Joanne Glockner. He made South Carolina his home from the age of 16. Jamie loved building things, having been a general contractor and mostly known for his electrical work, he was the former owner of All Phase Contracting in Charleston. He was also the former owner of Costless Outlet in Walterboro and was a member of the Friends of the Colleton County Animal Shelter. An outdoorsman, he will be fondly remembered for his love and devotion to his farm and his horses, and well as his love for hunting and spending time with his friends.

Surviving in addition to his parents of Summerville are: his companion, Mrs. Kristina Lee Mize; a son, Jordon Lee "Junior" Brower of Ruffin; a daughter, Alyssa Brower of Summerville; and a brother, Todd Brower of Jenison, Michigan. He is also survived by a grandmother, Mrs. Helen Merritt of Jen ison, Michigan and his father and mother-in-law, John and Carol Mize of Round O.
