Mr. James Russell Kinsey, affectionately known by many as "Rusty", age 49, of 317 Silverhill Road in the Forest Hills Subdivision of Walterboro, entered into his state of eternal rest Monday morning, February 28. 2011, at his residence.



Funeral services will be conducted 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon March 3, 2011, from North Walterboro Baptist Church, 2177 Jefferies Highway, Walterboro. Interment will follow in Kinsey Cemetery, Round O Road, Round O.



Mr. Kinsey was born February 14, 1962, in Colleton County and was a son of the late Francis Benjamin "Frank" Kinsey, Jr. and the late Ethel Ann Avant Kinsey. He worked as a welder and attended the North Walterboro Baptist Church. He was a member of Duck's Unlimited, Inc. and for many years has served as a committee member of the Walterboro Chapter No l0. Rusty simply described, was an outdoorsman. Hunting wild game of all kinds and enjoying many offshore fishing excursions was his life.



Surviving are: his wife of thirty years, Mrs. Robin DeFee Kinsey; three sons, James Kinsey, Jr. and his wife Dora, Scott Kinsey, and Benjamin Anthony Kinsey all of Walterboro; three daughters, Kayla R. Kinsey, Lauren M. Kinsey and Lindsey C. Kinsey all of Walterboro; and two sisters, Ella Kinsey Baldwin of Toccoa, Georgia and Amy Kinsey Baker of Oakwood, Georgia. There are two grandchildren, James Russell Kinsey, III and Thomas Allen Kinsey that also survive.



Flowers will be accepted or for those that wish, the family has respectfully requested that memorial contributions be directed in his memory to the following: North Walterboro Baptist Church, 2177 Jefferies Highway, Walterboro, SC 29488; or to: American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22311.
