Mr. James Edward “Eddie” Seigler, Jr., 65, of Lodge, entered into eternal rest Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held at 3 pm, Sunday, May 15, 2016 at Ehrhardt Baptist Church, 279 Madison Street, Ehrhardt.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm, Saturday evening at the home of James and Sandra Sease, 3618 Lowcountry Highway, Ehrhardt.
Born August 26, 1950 in Greenwood, SC, he was a son of James Edward Seigler, Sr. and Jean Bagwell Seigler. He served his country in the United States Army and then in the South Carolina National Guard. He was a former project manager, engineer, architect, and draftsman, and was currently employed with S&S Disposal of Ehrhardt. Eddie enjoyed scuba diving and golfing; and especially loved spending time at Hilton Head and Lake Greenwood.
Surviving in addition to his parents are: his children, Sioux Seigler, Jamey Seigler, Maggie Seigler, Cody Seigler, and Jared Seigler; sisters, Susan Dixon (Tommy), and Carol Bell (George); his close friend and companion of 9 years, Donna Fender Moore; 7 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren.
