Mr. James Franklin Davis, 66, of Ruffin, entered into eternal rest Saturday, October 18, 2014 at his residence.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 4:30, Tuesday afternoon, October 21, 2014, at Williams Cemetery.
Born May 7, 1948 in Walterboro, he was a son of the late Johnnie Lee Davis and Eva Mae Robertson Davis. He was a member of Marion Baptist Church and had worked as a sales associate at Warren Building Supply. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Surviving are: his wife of 24 years, Rachel Crosby Davis of Ruffin; son, John Ross Davis of Ruffin; daughters, Debra Melissa Volp (Krystopher) of Santee and Suellen Davis (Paul) of Ruffin; 8 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, Marion Elwood Davis, Robert Lee Davis, Vernon Davis and Marshall Davis; and sisters, Mary Louise Garner and Doris Ann Kinsey.
